EECS881:TCP With Delay
From ITTC
Lab 3: TCP With Delay
Goals for this lab:
- Complete parts A and B of the example (linked above). The Dumbbell Topology File or your saved experiment file from Lab 2A are a good starting point.
- Complete the "Test your understanding" section of the example.
- Submit your Lab 3 Report through the linked form below.
Notes:
- Make your ONL reservation through the web page and request 1 router pair and 6 additional hosts. It will make your life easier later in the lab.
- Remember that you are welcome to complete this lab working remotely, however if you choose to do so please do not' reserve ONL resources during our scheduled lab hours, since we generally do have have enough router pairs available for everyone who is present in the lab.
- For those working in the lab, if we run into congestion again waiting for ONL resources you may do the work in pairs, however reports must still be written individually.
- In the Preparation section, "/users/onl/export/Examples/" should be "/users/onl/export/NPR-Examples/"
- Before running tsndrs-2npr in step A-4, you need to modify the script so that there is a 1-second pause between the start of the first flow and the start of the second flow, and the duration of each TCP flow is 20 seconds instead of 60 seconds.
